Countertop Maintenance

In order to maintain the beauty of your countertop, it is important to care for it. While quartz and granite are more resistant to stains, heat, and scratches, they are still susceptible to damage! Marble is a much more porous surface, which requires extra care. We always recommend that spills be addressed immediately. It is important to keep all liquids, including water, off of the countertops. Avoiding acidic liquids such as wine, vinegar, lemon, etc., is especially important. Sealing your countertop is a good way to prevent damage, and some sealants last over 15 years!
